HOW TO GET TO THE WANDERING PAISA HOSTEL

From the Terminal Norte bus station:
Buses coming from the North (Bogota, Cartagena, Santa Marta, Bucaramanga) will arrive at the Terminal Norte, which connects to the CARIBE Metro Station. Take Caribe towards ITAGUI, get off in SAN ANTONIO and transfer to LINEA B towards San Javier. From there it is only 3 stops to ESTADIO. Get off at the ESTADIO Metro station go right onto “La Setenta,” walk four blocks South and go left at 44A street at the corner after passing the Subway restaurant and Colanta meat store. If you pass Banco de Bogota or San Juan street you’ve gone too far. Look for the old palm tree and sign on the garage out front.
From the Terminal Sur bus station OR the Olaya Herrera local airport:
Buses coming from the South (Cali, Pasto, Poypayán, Salento) and domestic flights will arrive here.
Easiest: Taking a cab costs around $7-8,000 COP. Tell the driver to take you to La Setenta and Calle San Juan.
Cheapest: Walk 4 blocks East on Calle 10 until you reach the POBLADO Metro station. Take the Metro towards NIQUIA until you reach SAN ANTONIO. Get off and Transfer to LINEA B towards San Javier. Get off at the ESTADIO Metro station go right onto “La Setenta,” walk four blocks South and go left at 44A street on the corner after passing the Subway restaurant and Colanta meat store. From the Rionegro/Jose Maria Cordova international airport:
Most international flights will arrive here.
Fastest/Easiest: A taxi costs about $70.000-100,000 pesos. Tell them you’re going to Calle San Juan and La Setenta and ask how much the fare will be before getting into the taxi to make sure they don’t overcharge.
Cheaper: You can also take a “collectivo” bus from the airport to the center of Medellin for about $10.000 pesos, and then a taxi from the center to the hostel that should cost about $6.000 Tell the driver to take “Calle San Juan”. And turn right on Carrera 68 and then make a left, in the middle of the block is the hostel.
